Plaza Branch and Central Library will open late at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 17 due to the Kansas City Marathon.
As healthcare continues to move online, a little hands-on practice goes a long way toward feeling ready. Drop in for one-on-one help from a health resource specialist as you practice a real video call, log into your patient portal, and work out any technical challenges. This is the perfect final step before a telehealth visit, and no question is too small. Come as you are, and leave feeling ready and confident.
Bringing your own laptop, tablet, or phone is recommended. The library will have a limited number of computers available for anyone who needs one.
Appointments sign-ups will be offered to session participants, so walk-in options will be limited. Email health@kclibrary.org for questions or inquiries.
If you need ADA accommodation to use Library services or attend Library events and programs, please notify us at least 3 business days in advance at 816.701.3409 or ADA@kclibrary.org. (TTY access available via 711 or 866.520.7309 for Spanish.)
The Kansas City Public Library could be videotaping and taking photos for possible inclusion in marketing and promotional communications.
