Sugar Creek Branch
The Sugar Creek Branch is a storefront library serving the residents of Sugar Creek and western Independence.
The branch was established by community demand: A number of residents petitioned the Library’s board of trustees in 1996; a storefront library in the Fairmount shopping center had closed seven years earlier. When voters approved an 11-cent increase in the Library’s property tax levy in June 1996, the board moved quickly.

We meet every Wednesday from 3-4pm. Come join us for conversation, and a game if everyone wants to play. Just an hour to get out of the weather and maybe meet a new friend or two.
