Set in 1950s America, Playing Through tells the inspiring story of Ann Gregory, the first African-American woman to compete in a USGA golf tournament. Facing racism and societal barriers, Ann forms an unexpected bond with Babs Whatling, a white amateur golfer. Together, they navigate a world of prejudice, resilience, and determination, proving that courage and friendship can transcend boundaries.
