Plaza Branch and Central Library will open late at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 17 due to the Kansas City Marathon.
The Ruiz Branch has two Bambu 3D printers available for patron use. Cardholders may use the 3D printers on a first-come, first-served basis and print one item per day for a maximum of three hours.
The Westside Neighborhood Association generously donated the printers, filament, tools, and other necessary supplies to offer a unique and educational service for Library users. Staff members can provide limited technical support. The printers are available until one hour before closing time, and patrons must pick up items within 10 days of printing.
