Every Sunday in the Bluford Teen Area, we'll be playing indie games and lesser-known titles to expand our gaming horizons. While we play, we'll dig deep into it to discuss its design, mechanics, aesthetics, and so much more! Learn creative skills and practice critical thinking while having fun with other players!

In honor of Native American Heritage Month, Never Alone comes to Sunday Game Spotlight! In Never Alone (or Kisima Inŋitchuŋa), play as Nuna and her pet Fox as they investigate a mysterious, never-ending blizzard which threatens their home. This award-winning cooperative puzzle-platformer was developed by an indigenous-owned game studio in collaboration with Iñupiat storytellers to pass on generational knowledge to players. As players overcome the challenges they face, they are rewarded with vignettes of Iñupiat experiences, folktales, and practices, all conveyed through narration in the Iñupiaq language. Never Alone (Kisima Inŋitchuŋa) is rated E10+ for Everyone 10 and up for mild violence.
