Plaza Branch and Central Library will open late at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 17 due to the Kansas City Marathon.

- Assessing your readiness to become an entrepreneur or nonprofit founder
- Organizing your business or nonprofit ideas
- Preparing to write a business plan, conduct a break even analysis and do financial projections
- Looking up an existing organization’s status in the MO Secretary of State database
- Understanding information about state and tax entities
- Connecting to local resources for deeper support
