USA Films
The "Retro Mystery Movies" series features movies based on books from the 1930s to 1950s with a few forays into more modern films that give a nod to those timeless films. On the first Thursday of the month we feature films from the Golden Age of Mystery: Think Agatha Christie, Dorothy Sayers, etc. The third Thursday of the month features movies from Classic Film Noir and the more modern Neo-Noir versions.
Note that movies rated "Approved" are from the Hays Office years (1930s to 1968) and the more familiar MPAA-rated film ratings of G, PG, PG-13, and R are after that era. The series is listed as being for ages 18+, but well-behaved children attending WITH their parents are welcome to come to the lower-rated movies. ALL R-rated movies are only for adults.
This program is intended for individuals 18 years and older.
